How it differs from a classic bee
A traditional bee is one speller against a word list. Spellmates keeps the bee format — pronouncer, definition, origin, one word at a time — but gives the audience something to do: they can arm sabotages that hide the definition, cut the clock to 15 seconds or force the word backward.
